
Mapbiking
By creating MapBiking, a way of stimulating people to use their bicycles more, polluting less and making the world more sustainable. We took advantage of the people connected on social networks during the most important music festival in the world: Rock in Rio. We synchronised the Google’s API’s program and the biker could ride virtually at the same speed as the bike. The game invited the biker to go around the roads of the Street View capturing Philips products, generating energy at the same time. To promote on Facebook, the strategy we applied was to photograph users in action, sweating in their t-shirts, which generated several “likes” in their pages and many “shares” of the action.
